Post Construction Checklist

Designed for newly built or renovated homes requiring detailed dust and debris removal

 

Throughout the Entire Home

1. Extensive removal of construction dust from all surfaces

2. Dust and clean fans, vents, blinds, and tops of window & door frames

3. Clean interior and exterior windows, sills, ledges, and tracks

4. Spot clean doors, door frames, and window frames

5. Dust and wipe all light fixtures

6. Clean and detail baseboards throughout

7. Remove cobwebs from corners and ceilings

8. Disinfect all light switches and door handles

9. Vacuum carpets and sweep/vacuum/mop all hard floors multiple times as needed

 

Kitchen — Fully Detailed

1. Clean inside and outside of ALL appliances: refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher

2. Clean oven hood vent

3. Wipe and disinfect countertops and backsplash

4. Clean inside and outside of all cabinets and drawers

5. Clean exterior of cabinets, doors, and hardware

6. Detail sink and faucet

7. Remove stickers, plastic coverings, labels, and adhesive residue from surfaces

 

Bathrooms — Top to Bottom

1. Scrub and disinfect tubs, showers, toilets, sinks, and counters

2. Clean mirrors and fixtures

3. Clean inside cabinets and drawers

4. Detail baseboards and flooring

5. Remove paint drips, dust, and construction residue from fixtures and surfaces

 

Detail & Finishing Touches

1. Remove paint droplets, caulk residue, and debris where safely possible

2. Remove stickers, plastic, and labels from windows, fixtures, and appliances

3. Final wipe-down of all surfaces to eliminate fine dust particles
